To facilitate the user experience on the Starcoin 2.0 Testnet, we have created a simple and user-friendly mining program. It allows users to run nodes with just 3 easy steps, making it a quick deployment for Testnet nodes. This is particularly suitable for users without a technical background.
1. Download Software
Windows download link: https://github.com/starcoinorg/starcoin_node_gui/releases/tag/v0.2.5
(MacOS/Linux user please visit the GitHub link)
2. Extract the Installation Package
Extract the compressed file and locate the starcoin_node_gui application.
3. Open the Software and Run the Node
- Once opened, input your username to proceed.
- Click “Start” to begin mining. After clicking, a black execution box will appear; please do not close it.
- This address is created by default. If you need to replace it, please click on the profile picture in the top right corner, input the wallet address and private key for import, and then select this address.
