In this trial environment, the Max BPS (maximum number of blocks per second) has reached 1 block/s, the Max Parallelism (maximum number of blocks processed simultaneously) has achieved 2 blocks, resulting in a Max TPS (maximum transaction volume per second) of an impressive 130k tx/s. This remarkable performance showcases the enormous potential of Starcoin, opening up a world of possibilities for the future.
To provide everyone with the opportunity to witness the remarkable performance of Starcoin 2.0 and contribute to the building and upkeep of the Starcoin network, we have launched a mining and points-earning initiative. Simply deploy the Starcoin 2.0 client, synchronize the block data, and you’ll be able to participate in mining and accumulate points.
Event time: 2022/07/20–2024/08/03 (UTC+8), for 15 days
Event rules:
- Deploy the Starcoin 2.0 client and synchronize the node data to participate in the mining activity;
- Starcoin points are proportional to the mining rewards obtained. The earlier the deployment, the more points rewards you will get;
- Follow Starcoin X, like and forward the event tweets, private message address, and you can also get 1,000 points reward.
How to participate:
1. Download the client: Visit direct download: https://github.com/starcoinorg/starcoin_node_gui/releases/tag/v0.2.6
2. Synchronize data: Click “Start” to start synchronizing data. Due to the large amount of data on the chain, it takes about 2 days to synchronize block data (about 1 day if the network and device performance are good);
3. Start mining: After synchronizing block data, you can automatically participate in mining;
4. Get points: Starcoin points will be proportional to mining rewards and will be announced after the event.
About points:
Starcoin points are an important medium designed to evaluate and motivate users, and are intended to reward users who actively participate in Starcoin network construction and ecological development. Participating in the event can earn points and unlock rewards.

Points rewards will be announced 3 to 5 working days after the event ends.
